Accounting.fp7

The first of four templates is available in FMP 7.0. It is a powerful template incorporating 17 tables and over two dozen layouts. It is called Accounting.fp7.

It has capacities for adding, modifying and retrieving all customers, vendors, (QB Pro) Items [sales tax items also], invoices, purchase orders, estimates (proposals) and for the premier version sales orders too.

It also provides supporting (updating) drop down lists for:

Accounts
Terms
Job Types
Customer Types
Vendor Types
Payment Methods
Shipping Methods
Sales Reps
Sales Tax Codes
Classes

The QBP Items include:

Inventory
Non Inventory
Service
Other Charges

A separate grouping for sale tax groups and sales tax items is also included.

The template also stores and utilizes XSLT documents to retrieve all the data mentioned in the first paragraph. It also has a half a dozen custom functions which greatly reduces code for qbXML development.

The template also has the automated features that you are used to in QuickBooks Pro such as a pop up calendar, customers, vendors and items added on the fly.

It will certainly provide a huge reduction of development for QBP - FMP integration. It would also cause a powerful means to build and automate operations which seamlessly translate into accounting fundamentals for any business.

There are other templates which work / will work with this template. This template again is called simply Accounting.fp7

These four templates work together and can be turned on from the preferences screen (layout) in Accounting.fp7, providing the option to add over time.
